Academic Powerhouse (APUK), an educational consultancy between East and West, has hired 11K Consulting to build its thought leadership reputation among the education community in the UK and Asia.
The agency will help APUK build a programme for Susan Fang (pictured), its co-Founder and CEO, to reinforce her positioning as a thought leader in the education industry.
The agency will create a series of thought leadership pieces on educational issues and trends between East and West, and promote them via traditional media and social, as well as at conferences and events in the UK and Asia.
Susan said: “Our vision is to bridge the information gap between East and West, to empower students and parents to make the wisest decision on future education and career, and to provide both professional and personal touch in the increasingly competitive education sector.
“We have been impressed by 11K’s deep understanding of our company, target audience and markets, and we view our collaboration as fundamental to the growth and success of our business over the next year.”
11K Consulting MD Sally Maier-Yip said “APUK has unrivalled knowledge and expertise in the education sector between East and West.
“We look forward to helping them uncover their many inspiring, authentic and life-transforming stories and building its thought leadership reputation on the global map.”

“Sally and the team at 11K Consulting has been indispensable in positioning me as the spokesperson for the education industry on facilitating student mobility, knowledge transfer, merger and acquisition and franchising of schools between the East and West. Through dedicated smart and hard work, as well as her unconditional faith in my ability and what I do, Sally has secured for me major press interviews and speaking opportunities every month since our engagement six months ago. In this time she has also created a new Website and LinkedIn page promoting my personal brand, further cementing my status as an international education expert in the UK and abroad. Although it is still early stage of our working relationship, I already see the positive impact Sally’s work has bestowed upon me, which in return reflects healthily on the bottom line of my company’s recent sales report.
Engaging in Sally’s service so far has been a productive and amicable journey and I would not hesitate to endorse her professionalism and capability whole-heartedly.”
